Ananta Vasudeva Temple is a revered shrine of Hindus. It finds its residence in Bhubaneshwar which lies in the state of Orissa. It is worshipped and visited in the honour of Lord Krishna. The temple has gained is solid structure in thirteenth century. It lies among the category of Vaishnav Temple. It entails three deities Lord Krishna, Subhadra and Balarama. Ananta Vasudeva Temple follows the Kalinga architecture. The whole temple premises consist of Jagmohan (worship hall), main shrine, bhogmandap, nathmandir and shikara. The temple’s walls are fully decorated with sophisticated and stunning design. It is also adorned by unknown female figures. The temple is surrounded by gardens and has peaceful environment. The main shrine consists of three deities of Lord Krishna, Subhadra and Balarama. Balarama is positioned under a seven hooded serpent, the two hands bear jewel pots and lotus and one foot is placed over other jewel pot and chakra, mace, conch and lotus are beard up by Lord Krishna. Butter, milk and curd are offered and distributed as Prasad. Food is also prepared at bhogmandap and is distributed among devotees as Prasad.
